Jean’s Apothecare – organic, sustainable, ethical, delicious, luxurious, healing herbal goods. Tea, culinary goods, body care products, and assorted gifts. Current personal favorites of mine: Trust Your Gut tea, Calm the F**k Down body butter and aromatherapy oil, peppermint cocoa lip balm, dairy-free hot cocoa, Pen & Pillar notebooks, and chili oil… but I’ve tried almost all of it and it’s all been amazing, so that’s really just a jumping-off point.
Quartzwood Farm – delicious, sustainable wine and merch for the hard-to-impress oenophile in your life, made with brilliance in Loudoun County, VA (they ship out-of-state). My personal favorite is the 2022 Vidal Méthode Ancestrale, but you literally cannot go wrong.
Art, Photography, & Handcrafted Goods
Jenn Snaps – Topsail Island, NC-based artist creating breathtaking surf and nature photography and art using really inventive photography techniques. You can buy prints, canvases, tote bags/pouches, and a guided surf journal for the wahine in your life, and she also makes droolworthy live-edge woodworking.
Emerald & Ivy Studios – delightful gouache & watercolor artwork, handpainted jewelry, and (if you’re lucky enough to catch them before they sell out) stunning holiday ornaments.
Art by A.K. Landreth – Gorgeous, serene abstract expressionist art: originals, prints, ornaments, and a 2024 calendar full of lovely landscapes.

Great Abiding Yoga – Asheville, NC-based yoga classes and private lessons (available virtually!), private coaching, merch, meditations, and reiki, all taught by the amazing Tara Eschenroeder.
